Do you have special career services for international students?

All international students (including exchange students) can request career advising appointments. Our advisors are all fluent in English and experienced to walk you through your job & internship search.

How well do I need to know Turkish to secure an internship / job position?

It depends on the position and the requirements of the Company. That being said,

improving your fluency in Turkish would be a good strategy to maximize your chance to secure a position in Turkish companies. Check out International Community Office’s web page dedicated to resources for learning and practicing Turkish.

Can I have an internship experience in Turkey?

The University approves your internship only for the summer terms. Internships during the academic terms are not acceptable and the insurance is not covered bu the University.
