Hi! I am Ece, a 4th year Molecular Biology and Genetics student, double-majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Business Administration. Also, I am following the track programs of “Biotechnology and Bioinformatics” and “Entrepreneurship” to specialize in biotechnology and bioinformatics; and I am following the track program “Global Learning and Leadership for Sustainability” to develop myself in the fields such as social impact, leadership and sustainability. At school, I have worked as a newcomer’s mentor and career mentor, and I was highly active in clubs (I am a former Co-President of Koç University Science Club). Along with my experiences in multiple international program and project development, I gained several important titles, most important of which are “University Innovation Fellow” in UIF Program of Stanford University and “UNESCO Youth Ambassador for Peace and Intercultural Dialogue ”. As I want to work on drug development in the future, I have worked in different labs that work in different disciplines, focussed on drug development. As a part of my research experiences, I have completed my Erasmus+ Internship in University of Vienna, working on a project on “computer-aided drug design”. Like you can understand reading my profile, I like developing myself further in different fields and I aim to work to create a positive, meaningful impact in the world. If you believe we share common ground, I would be thrilled to come together during the mentorship process and mutually enhance our development and have the best of fun. See you in the program! Bests,
